Our Florentine Rituals invite you to feel at home in Florence through experiences shaped by the people, flavours and views that are part of our everyday life. Join our Chef to discover the art of schiacciata, gather around a private table above the rooftops, or take a quiet moment for yourself with yoga overlooking the city.

Each ritual brings our Florentine way of welcoming you into a different setting, with thoughtful attention to your wishes. From flour-dusted hands to a leisurely meal under the Tuscan sky, these are moments to enjoy at your own pace, in good company, with a little of Florence to carry home.

  • THE ART OF SCHIACCIATA

    Hand-on cooking class with our Chef and his team to learn how to prepare the famous Florentine Schiacciata

    Some of Florence’s best-loved traditions begin with flour-dusted hands and something good in the oven. Join our Chef and his team around the Oval Table in the Glass Yard for a hands-on introduction to schiacciata, the golden, olive oil-rich bread woven into everyday Florentine life.

    You’ll knead, shape and dress your own dough with seasonal ingredients, discovering the simple gestures behind this local favourite. There’s time to ask questions, exchange stories and enjoy the pleasure of making something together.

    While your schiacciata bakes, settle into The Kitchen & The Bar or onto the terrace for a signature cocktail. Then taste it warm from the oven, alongside Tuscan cured meats, artisan cheeses and seasonal vegetables, with extra virgin olive oil from Fattoria di Maiano and a glass of local wine.

    Before you leave, we’ll send you home with the recipe and a small bottle of olive oil: a little of our Florence to bring to your own table.

    An Exclusive Rooftop Culinary Experience

    Elevate your evening with an unforgettable private dining experience set on our exclusive rooftop terrace, where breathtaking panoramic views of Florence provide the perfect backdrop for an extraordinary culinary journey.

    Available from May through July and September through October (weather permitting), this intimate experience is designed for 4 to 10 guests seeking exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and complete privacy.

    Your experience begins with a welcome aperitif featuring Tuscan bubbles and a selection of finger foods, setting the tone for a truly memorable occasion. Seated at an elegantly decorated table adorned with fresh floral arrangements and candlelight, you will enjoy a tailor-made menu carefully crafted by our Chef to create a personalized dining experience inspired by our seasonal THE KITCHEN & THE BAR menu.

    Reserved exclusively for you and your guests, the rooftop terrace offers a unique atmosphere where the beauty of Florence unfolds beneath the Tuscan sky, creating the perfect setting for celebrations, special occasions, or simply an unforgettable moment.

    • Tailor-made specialties created by the Chef inspired by our seasonal THE KITCHEN & THE BAR menu ( it is required to be preselected at the moment of booking )

    • Exclusive use of the rooftop terrace (in case of bad weather oval table in the Glass Yard)
    • Elegant floral table decorations and candlelight
    • Water, cover charge, coffee, and all applicable taxes

    Additional menu options, including wine may be purchased for an additional charge

    Cancellation policy

    All cancellations must be received at least 72 hours prior the experience date, in case of late cancellation full charge will be applied.
